Lannie Neal, Hygienist:  A hygienist for 5 years, Lannie graduated from the Rio Salado dental hygiene program here in Phoenix.  A valley native for almost her entire life (she was born in Pennsylvania), she did most of her growing up in Mesa.  Although she has only been in the hygiene business a relatively short time, she is a dental veteran.  She was a dental assistant for many years prior to that, so she understands the needs of dental patients when providing personalized, kind, reassuring, and top-notch care.   She has three grown children and in her spare time likes to ski, read, and travel.  She has been to many interesting places-ask her about them!  Her favorite food is spaghetti and meatballs and also loves to cook.

About me:

I am a displaced Midwesterner.  Sorry all you Arizona natives, I wasn’t born here.  If it’s any consolation, my wife is a native Arizonan.  I grew up outside of Chicago in Rockford, Illinois.  I went to the University of Illinois in Champaign (GO ILLINI) and continued my education at the university’s College of Dentistry in Chicago.  Living in the big city was quite an experience, but I decided to come to Arizona to live where my grandparents called home.  I have never regretted it.  Except for a five–year absence living in the Boston, MA area, I have been in Phoenix most of my dental career.  I have a wonderful wife and two great kids, a teen age daughter and son.  I believe in the love and care of family so don’t be too surprised to see my mom working at the front desk or my daughter or son helping around the office when you visit.  I also have the best team members working for me.  I am often asked if they are my daughters…I laugh and say that sometimes it seems that way since we truly enjoy being around one another.  And as a dental team, we work well together.  Come in and see for yourself-I think you’ll be impressed with them just like I am.
